Point Oven import test 001
A successful, first test clip of our new animation pipeline for this VFX project. In the past we have always skinned and rigged in Lightwave and used FBX to export for animation in Motionbuilder. This time we’re animating in Maya and transferring via Maya Point Oven plugin. Here you see the flow of Modo401 UV’d mesh exported and sent to Maya, animated and exported MDD file reapplied to the origin mesh back in Modo for rendering.
